Task 7 – Speaking.- With
a partner, act out the roles below, based on the dialogue from Task 6. Then
switch roles.
Use
language such as:
- I think it would benefit our team.
- Do you think it’s necessary?
- Do we need to bring in new personnel?
A: I
think it’s necessary to fire some of our personnel. Some of them don’t generate
the sales goals.
B: Do
you think it’s necessary? I think we can also capacitate them.
A: I
don’t think so. We gave them a lot of opportunnities yet.
B:
Mmmh… you’re right. So, do we need to bring in new personne?
A:
Yeah, please tell marketing department to start a new campaign to find new
workers.
B: Got
it.
Task 8 – Writing.- You are a sales supervisor. Write an email to the Company
manager explaining why you believe a sales seminar would benefit your team (100
- 120 words). Talk about:
- What the course promises to do
- What the current problem in the sales team are
- Why you think the seminar would benefit your team
E-mail:
Dear Danna, as you know our sales team haven't been the best on the last quarter, so I write this e-mail in order to analize the posibilitie to go to the sales seminar that it has it's place next week. I think it will raise awareness about the situation of the company. Hope you consider it.
